Through it all, we’ve maintained our focus on providing effective customer service, quality deliverables, and the agility to adapt to a continually evolving digital landscape.
Erik started in Hollywood in 1997 as an independent filmmaker, focusing on special effects and post-production. It was the start of the digital revolution, and while Erik learned to cut film he also created entirely digital post production workflows. Thisexperience led to an interview with Apple when they were expanding iTunes into video. During his three years at iTunes, Erik launched all major media types, authored many of the procedures and specification now considered industry standards, and expanded the store globally. He started Premiere so that large scale economical distribution solutions could be brought to every aspect of the industry, and be able to serve everyone from studios to individual filmmakers and global retailers to local platforms.
AJ has worked his entire career in the telecommunications, media and technology industries. He started his career in investor relations and soon moved to a corporate finance role for publicly listed Versatel in the Netherlands. Following a trade sale of Versatel, he joined the Eyeworks Group to drive their international expansion as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. After completing more than 15 acquisitions during his 5 years at Eyeworks, he did some consulting work before joining the investment group that joined Premiere in 2014.
Steve came to Premiere in 2013 with technology,software development, finance and management experience from a 17 year career at 20th Century Fox. While there, he lead the team that developed, built and implemented Fox’s industry leading digital media supply chain which included asset / metadata management, media storage and content processing / distribution. During that time, and working with colleagues from around the company, Fox was able to drive the global broadcast industry to adopt file based delivery of content which helped drive ~$100M in savings for Fox and valuable changes for the industry.
Mark started off his career in investment banking, focusing the telecommunications and media industries. In early 1999, he joined Raj at Versatel and was instrumental in growing the business and taking it public. He also served as CFO of Amsterdam based Eyeworks Group and helped it grow into one of the largest international independent TV and film production companies before its sale to Warner Brothers
Natively from Colorado, Geoff Bloder has spent the last 20 years running around various Hollywood Post Production circles. While working in all technical aspects of “Post”, his primary focus since 2005 has been File Based distribution and workflows. His work spans across EST, VOD, Mobile and Broadcast markets, and has been instrumental in the creation of the “Digital Supply Chain”. Prior to working at Premiere Digital, Geoff was the Director of Media and Audio Services at 20th Century Fox, where over the course of 9 years he built and ran the technical operations teams at Fox Media Services. Additionally, he spent a number of years at both boutique, as well as large scale post production facilities. Geoff is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art, and currently splits his time between Denver and Los Angeles.
